 AXIS M1054 (1280×800) HD Network Camera

I got a call about installing this camera in a Condo at the Canyons Resort in Utah. He searched Utah/Internet/Cameras and I was on the top. Nice! We talked and emailed for a few days until we decided on this camera. Basically he wanted to view his condo remotely from his iPhone, iPad or computer web browser. He also requested a digital thermometer with indoor/outdoor temps on the screen. No problem.

I ordered the Camera from Tri-Ed and got together with the property manager to set up the installation. It was pretty easy setting up the camera even without the included CD-ROM. Since this was my first time installing a Axis camera I called their Tech Line. They have great customer support as I found out. With his help and ability for him to log on to my desktop we configured everything quickly like Static IP, H.264 Video Stream, and Port  Forwarding.

I called my client back east and helped him get the IPCamViewer App on his iPhone and shortly he was able to view me at the desk in his Condo. I explained he  should change the password and we set up the camera view he wanted. There is no archiving with this camera but you can capture images and video on the computer logged into the camera.
